The command line options listed below are for PhotomatixCL version 2.0 which is available from Photomatix Pro version 3.0 on. You can download the latest version Photomatix Pro from the download page. PhotomatixCL.exe will be installed under the PhotomatixPro3 application folder (stored by default under the "Program Files" directory) when you install

The source images need to be given as arguments. A combination method is required in addition to the source images. All other arguments are optional. |
For instance, if you just want to average three images (named image1.jpg, image2.jpg and image3.jpg), the command line would simply be:

If you rather want to merge the three images into HDR and tone map with Details Enhancer (default settings), then the command line would be:

If you want to align your images with the "by matching features" method prior to merging, to tone map with custom settings provided in a mySettings.xmp file, to save the tone mapped image as 16-bit TIFF under a file name starting with the name of the first image in the set, then the command line would be:

Note that you can create the mySettings.xmp file using Photomatix Pro in manual mode (via the "Save Settings" item of the Presets combo-box) or in batch processing mode as the batch will by default save the settings in an xmp file located in the folder containing the resulting images. |
If you are only interested in the tone mapped result, you can remove the 32-bit HDR image file after tone mapping by adding "-h remove" as follows:

If you would like to fuse the images with the Adjust exposure fusion method with default settings in addition to merging them to HDR and tone mapping them with Details Enhancer, you just need to add the "-2" command as follows:
