This Lightroom plug-in exports photos for processing in Photomatix Pro. The plug-in lets you set the HDR processing options. It also makes it possible to have the blended or HDR tone mapped image automatically saved and re-imported into the Lightroom library. |

This short tutorial shows how to use the Lightroom plug-in. |

The Lightroom plugin is included in the download of Photomatix Pro version 3.1.3 or higher. Please refer to the installation instructions depending on your platform:

Installation instructions for Windows |
| 1. |
If you haven't downloaded Photomatix Pro yet, please do so from the download page. |
| 2. |
The installation wizard will ask you whether to install the Lightroom plug-in in addition to Photomatix Pro. When asked, check the box "Yes, install the Lightroom Plug-in too". |

Restart Lightroom |
| 4. |
Select bracketed photos on the filmstrip. |
| 5. |
Right-click to invoke the contextual menu. Select Export and then Photomatix Pro. |

Important note: If you have chosen "Automatically reimport into Lightroom", right-click above the filmstrip to check that "All Photographs" is selected. In case "Previous Import" shows, then right-click on it and select All Photographs instead. |

Installation instructions for Mac OS X |

If you haven't downloaded Photomatix Pro yet, please do so from the download page. |
| 2. |
Go to the place where you downloaded Photomatix Pro (normally your 'Downloads' folder). You should see there a folder named 'Photomatix Pro 3.2.9' containing two files.

Move Photomatix Pro (the file with the umbrella icon) to your Applications folder. |

To install the plug-in, you can choose between two options:

Option 1 |

Move Photomatix.lrplugin (the file with the Lightroom plug-in's icon) to:
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Modules (where '~' is your User directory) |

In case there is no "Modules" folder under Adobe/Lightroom, create the folder manually. |

Restart Lightroom |

Option 2 |

In Lightroom, choose File > Plug-In Manager |

Click on the Add button and navigate to the place where you downloaded Photomatix Pro |

Select the Photomatix.lrplugin file, and click Add Plug-In. |

Click Done to close the Lightroom Plug-In Manager

Select bracketed photos on the filmstrip. |
| 6. |
Control-click (or right-click) to invoke the contextual menu. Select Export and then Photomatix Pro. |
