Click on the link 'Download Photomatix Light 1.0.1' given above. |

Go to your Downloads folder. |

Double-click on the 'PhotomatixLight1.0.1' folder to open it. |

Move Photomatix Light (the file with the umbrella icon) to your Applications folder. |

Note for Mac OS 10.4 users: Photomatix Light requires Mac OS 10.5 or higher. Even though it will run on Mac OS 10.4, it was not designed to do so and there are issues: when run on Mac OS 10.4, the interface design of Photomatix Light does not look good and the contextual help does not show. |

Note for G5 users: An update of QuickTime 7.6.6 resulted in issues with loading the QTKit framework on PPC-based Macs for some reason. As Photomatix Light needs to load the QTKit framework at start-up, this issue makes Photomatix Light quit upon launching if you are running on a G5 and upgraded to QuickTime 7.6.6. If this is your case, please contact us at support@hdrsoft.com to request the special version of Photomatix Light that does not include the QTKit framework. |
